James B. Sarnoff has over 15 years of experience in Property Tax Law representing owners and operators of multi-family, commercial and industrial properties throughout the State of Illinois. His extensive clientele list includes Fortune 500 Companies, Developers, REIT’s, Privately-Held Firms, Property Management Companies, and more.
Mr. Sarnoff has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Magazine. Since 2011, he has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys (NAPTA), where he serves as Secretary. He is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and co-authors the Illinois Chapter of the American Bar Association’s Property Tax Deskbook. Mr. Sarnoff earned his J.D. from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. in Speech Communication from Syracuse University. Mr. Sarnoff is a devoted husband and father of three children and is very active at the Francis W. Parker School of Chicago, where his children attend.
